We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Compliance Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team in Telford. This role is critical in ensuring our products, processes, and systems meet all relevant quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You will work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain and improve our Quality Management System (QMS) and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System in line with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements
  • Conduct internal and external audits, including supplier audits
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Support root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, FMEA, and Fishbone
  • Monitor and report on quality KPIs and drive improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality is embedded in manufacturing processes
  • Assist with new product introduction (NPI) and validation activities

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a quality or compliance role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 (experience with other standards is advantageous)
  • Experience with auditing (internal/external)
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
