JAM Staffing Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious Telford based client. Flexibility on start times and working days. Start times are between 2.00am - 6am, and 19.00pm - 21.00pm. Shifts would include weekends. Excellent working conditions, clean new fleet of vehicles, ongoing work. Immediate start after successfully completing an on-site assessment. Delivery of chilled / ambient produce to RDC's. Average shift length between 12 - 13 hours. Must be prepared to work some weekends.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Minimum 6 months commercial experience driving this category of vehicle
- No more than 6 points on your licence (No DR, DD, CD or IN codes)
- Valid CPC & Digi card
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Pay rates (PAYE) with Holiday Pay:
- Weekdays: £18.04 (days) / £19.44ph (night)
- Saturday: £19.44ph
- Sundays & B/H: £19.44ph
Responsibilities will include but not exclusive:
- Delivery of chilled / ambient products to RDC / NDC
- Ensuring all paperwork is correct and collected
- Using PPT's to unload in certain depots
- Vehicle checks in line with current legislation, walk around apps and report any damage directly to transport office
- Adhere and follow current WTD and tacho legislation
