My client based in Kingswinford is seeking a dedicated Yard Operator/FLT driver to oversee the yard operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a yard as well as hold an in date FLT Counterbalance license. You will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of the yard, including heavy lifting, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as required.
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials around the yard.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Hours
Monday - Friday 7am-5pm, 45 hours paid, £12.71ph
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or yard environment is preferred.
- Experience operating forklift - counterbalance; certification required.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is essential.
- Counterbalance License (required).
