£40 to £60/hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Must be eligible for Security Clearance

A global manufacturer of electronic components is seeking an experienced Lead Power Electronics Engineer to take technical ownership of complex power conversion and power management products across aerospace, land and maritime platforms.

You\’ll lead electrical design activities end-to-end, support bid activity, mentor engineers, and ensure products meet stringent safety, reliability and compliance standards.

What the role entails:

• Technical ownership of power converter and power management designs from concept through to qualification
• Leading electrical design activities including schematics, PCB layout, modelling and simulations
• Supporting bid and proposal activity , including technical input, cost estimates and compliance responses
• Defining and supporting test plans, qualification and design assurance , including failure investigations
• Mentoring engineers and working in cross-functional teams
