Overview
In this leadership role, you will combine UK immigration law expertise with strategic client relationship management and operational leadership. You will grow a portfolio of corporate clients, mentor a team of immigration lawyers, and oversee billing and service delivery. Your focus is to deliver high-quality, timely immigration solutions while shaping client strategy and leveraging technology-enabled workflows. This is a senior, impact-driven position within a client-centric law practice seeking to elevate service and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, including senior HR leaders, Talent teams, founders and C-suite executives
- Grow and retain a portfolio of corporate clients, identifying opportunities for expansion
- Lead a team of immigration lawyers supported by technology and streamlined workflows
- Act as the senior client contact and escalation point for complex immigration matters
- Lead client communications, including legal alerts and updates
- Oversee and approve client billing in line with guidelines
- Own ongoing corporate accounts for a high-touch client experience
- Monitor matters and workflows to meet SLAs and quality standards
- Advise senior stakeholders on immigration strategy, risk, timelines and best practices
Key requirements
- Qualified and practising UK Immigration Lawyer with substantial corporate immigration experience
- Experience in senior or leadership capacity with influence over clients and internal stakeholders
- Proven track record of mentoring and developing immigration professionals
- Strong experience managing senior-level client relationships and escalations
- Commercial mindset with ability to drive account growth and retention
- Understanding of law firm financials, billing processes and operational workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior contacts
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused with interest in technology and service delivery improvements
