Job Description:
Location: Barrow (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12 Month contract initially
The Role:
- The individual in this role will operate one or more of the PM processes on a project, or be responsible for some aspects of PM processes or supporting more senior staff on a larger project.
- At this level, the incumbent will be expected to work independently on routine aspects of the activity, and under guidance and supervision in more complex situations. They are unlikely to be directly supervising other staff.
- They will have a level of knowledge in one or more areas of PM practice and be expected to apply in routine circumstances and to seek and follow guidance on their adaptation and application in more complex circumstances.
What you will be doing:
- Delivering multiple projects and work streams across risk mitigation, opportunity realisation, and enabling in support of the Dreadnought programme.
- Defining Projects and developing business cases.
- Enable and facilitate decision making, escalating where required.
- Develop and maintain an accurate and detailed understanding of the reactor bill of materials (BoM) and ensure alignment to build, test, and commissioning.
- Work with multiple stakeholders at all levels across Rolls-Royce, BAE, and MoD to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive data to support Rolls-Royce, BAE, and Alliance reviews.
- Communicate and influence key stakeholders who often have conflicting priorities by clearly articulating the situation in a constructive way.
