Project Engineer
Contract Length: 9 month minimum
Rate: £70 per hour Outside IR35
Location: Milton Keynes - minimum 3 days per week on site
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support delivery of large-scale ground-mounted solar projects through construction and completion
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities and project requirements
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
- Review drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Carry out setting out, surveying and site measurements
- Complete site inspections and quality checks
- Track progress against the project programme
- Identify and report issues, delays and technical queries
- Maintain project records and documentation
- Ensure works meet project specifications, quality and H&S requirements
- Support the Project Manager with project delivery and site coordination
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar
- Experience working on ground-mounted solar farms or large-scale renewable projects
- Good understanding of construction and site delivery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with setting out and surveying
- Comfortable working with CAD and technical documentation
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Able xgikmsk to work on site in Milton Keynes at least 3 days per week
DESIRABLE
- Experience on large-scale solar projects, ideally 30MW+
- Renewable energy or electrical infrastructure experience
- SMSTS, SSSTS, IOSH or similar H&S qualification
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Experience supporting projects through construction to completion
