Join a world-renowned aerospace organisation as a Senior Electrical Engineer Building Services in Preston 1-3 days per week. Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Preston on an initial 12 months contract. The rate per hour: £60.69 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella
The role:
- Reports to the RE&I S Programmes Principal Building Services Engineer.
- Assist or lead the preparation of a range of documents and concept design solutions for projects in support of land, sea, and air operations, personnel training, and production & maintenance facilities throughout the UK.
- Work as part of a high performing team to deliver construction / FM projects to ensure the correct Engineering support is applied through the project lifecycle.
- Management and oversight of external design consultants/specialists as appropriate, inspection of construction works and undertaking surveys of existing infrastructure, writing of technical reports/papers and presenting findings to others.
The Role Holder:
- Knowledge and experience in the use of CAD Software: Autocad, Revit.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Project.
- Good working experience across project lifecycle phases, demonstrating a whole-life approach to engineering.
- Demonstrable knowledge of managing construction and FM Engineering processes.
- Post graduate experience in the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
