Join a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Quantity Surveyor onsite in Newcastle. Would you like to join a global aerospace and defence organisation? Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Quantity Surveyor to add to their talented, hardworking team in Barrow on a 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.
Contract: 12 months
PAYE: £67.47
Location: Newcastle
The role: Manage and undertake all aspects of procurement related activity to cost, quality and schedule and independently lead projects and work within the Corporate Procurement Policy and Process in line with business requirements and performance objectives.
- Have a clear understanding of and apply the Quality Management System documentation e.g. Policy, Process Instructions, Workmanship Standards, Risk Assessments to comply with Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) rules and control measures.
- Lead the development, review and update of relevant systems and processes to ensure the effective delivery of activities in assigned areas.
Experience: Broad and deep professional knowledge / understanding of Procurement principles, techniques and practices.
