This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading defence organisations. This role is based in Warton on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office per week.
Knowledge:
- An understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cyber security threats.
- A broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).
- Excellent understanding of government and industry standard security policy, standards and best practice guidance.
- Experience of working in an IT function and relevant field.
Skills:
- Experience defining and deploying Cyber risk management strategies, and assessment methodologies.
- Experience in the management and delivery of key cyber security projects.
- Experience of collaborating for success with key business stakeholders.
- Experience managing, controlling and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
- Experience in people management.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent worked experience preferably in a related discipline.
Desirable:
- Professional IT Security qualification such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
