An established process engineering firm is looking for a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to join their team. This is a hybrid role with a 50/50 split between project delivery and customer support, offering variety and technical depth.
Responsibilities
- Capital Projects
- Design control systems for fans, pumps, valves, dampers, and instrumentation
- Specify and manage subcontractors for panel build, software, and installation
- Ensure electrical compliance with EN60204, ISO 13849, and IEC 62061
- Support commissioning and handover on customer sites
- Produce documentation including FDS, schematics, cable schedules and panel layouts
- On-site testing, calibration and troubleshooting of control systems
- Maintain support contracts and respond to breakdowns and service calls
