Join a world-renowned aerospace organisation as a SHE Lead Advisor (nightshift) in Govan Monday Night to Thursday Night. Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a SHE Lead Advisor to add to their talented, hardworking team in Govan on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

The rate per hour: £34.53 + nightshift uplift per hour inside IR35 / umbrella

The role:

  • The role will support the development and/or deployment of the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policy, systems and objectives for the Naval Ships business.
  • The role will be responsible for providing competent SHE advice, systems and assurance to line leaders/managers, enabling them to successfully manage SHE and to achieve company strategic goals.
  • The role is part of a cross-discipline team of SHE professionals working across the Naval Ships sites to deliver specified packages of work/improvement projects.

The Role Holder:

  • A minimum of five years post-qualification experience in applying health and safety knowledge and processes in work-related situations.
  • One or more of the following QCF/NQF Level 5 (or higher) qualifications: NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; Level 5 NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health Practice; Level 6 NCRQ Diploma in Applied Health and Safety; Safety, Health Honours Degree (Bachelors or Higher).   • Chartered membership of an appropriate professional health and safety institution is desirable.
