Initial 12 Month Contract

Hybrid - 2 days per fortnight on site in Barrow-in-Furness

The Role

  • Produce Design Documentation Set, technical justifications, and specifications as normally associated with RAN (Radio Access Network) Solution Architect responsibilities.
  • Ensure reviews and deliverables for contracts meet requirements and standards.
  • Produce test specifications supporting Design, Development & Qualification Contracts.
  • Produce test specifications supporting System Integration Facility validation testing.
  • Support Test and Commissioning Teams and Build activities.
  • Support the end-to-end design process.
  • Interact with suppliers and customers.
  • Advise on maintenance and spares strategies.
  • Support quality to ensure a safe product and compliant operations.

The Candidate

  • Technical Knowledge of Telecommunications (Voice & Data Technologies).
  • Technical Knowledge of Radio VHF/UHF minimum.
  • Technical Knowledge of Trunked Radio Systems such as TETRA/P25/PMR/DMR/MPT1327.
  • Fault Diagnosis, Maintenance, and Repair of Radio Systems, Equipment, and Radio Access Networks.
  • Understanding of RF Spectrum Management.
  • RAN (Radio Access Network) Solution Architect experience.
  • Radio Network Planning experience.
