If so, please read on...Essential skillset:Proven experience designing electrical systems for utility-scale Solar, BESS or renewable energy projectsStrong understanding of LV and MV electrical distribution systemsExperience producing single line diagrams (SLDs), protection schematics, cable schedules and electrical layoutsKnowledge of G99 grid connection requirements and DNO design standardsExperience carrying out electrical calculations, including cable sizing, voltage drop and protection coordinationFamiliarity with power system studies such as load flow, short circuit and protection studies Experience liaising with DNOs, ICPs, EPC contractors and clients throughout the design and approval processProficient in AutoCAD and electrical design softwareFull UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional UK site visits
