I'm looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join a highly capable Cyber Security Team supporting a major UK MoD integrated command and control programme based in Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical defence systems at the highest classifications, contributing to the delivery of secure solutions across the full project lifecycle.
About the Role
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will work closely with both internal stakeholders and customer communities to identify, assess, and reduce cyber security risks across a large-scale defence environment. You will play a key role in shaping secure architectures, implementing effective security controls, and supporting assurance and accreditation activities in line with UK defence standards and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support projects in understanding cyber security risks and assurance requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop secure architectures and security-by-design solutions
- Identify and implement proportionate security controls that deliver effective risk reduction
- Produce high-quality technical security documentation and assurance artefacts
- Support security investigations, meetings, and occasional customer site visits
