We're recruiting experienced Structural Welders to join a leading UK engineering and manufacturing organisation working on complex, large-scale projects within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out structural steel welding and fabrication activities to required quality standards and tolerances.
  • Work from engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Use a variety of welding processes and associated tools and equipment.
  • Complete fitting, alignment, forming, grinding, and finishing activities as required.
  • Conduct self-inspection of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work safely and adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team performance targets.

Essential Requirements

  • Time-served Welder with a completed Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent recognised qualification).
  • Proven experience in structural steel welding within a heavy engineering, manufacturing, marine, defence, or industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
  • Experience working to strict quality standards and tolerances.
  • Competent in the safe use of welding, fabrication, and measuring equipment.
