Overview
In this role you will own and grow a defined geographic territory across the North of England and Scotland for a specialist power and electrical infrastructure business. You will build relationships with customers involved in development, delivery and maintenance of critical assets, identifying projects and converting opportunities to drive revenue and margin. You will combine technical credibility with strong commercial drive to expand market share. This is an opportunity to take greater ownership of business development in a technically complex sector.
Pay / Benefits
- 60,000-65,000 base salary
- 8,400 annual car allowance
- 25% target bonus linked to area revenue and margin

Responsibilities
- Develop business across the North of England and Scotland, expanding existing activity and pursuing new opportunities
- Build and manage customer relationships to identify projects and opportunities
- Grow revenue and margin within the territory
- Represent a technically credible specialist business in customer discussions
- Engage credibly with customers by combining technical understanding with commercial motivation
Key requirements
- Background in HV/MV/EHV products and electrical infrastructure markets
- Experience in roles such as Area/Regional Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, or Key Account Manager
- Commercial exposure with a track record of developing business and relationships
- Ability to engage technically with customers and drive territory growth
- Knowledge of power cables, switchgear, transformers, substations, grid connections, utilities, ICP/EPC environments, renewables
