The Role:
- Supporting young people (16-25years) in a Key Worker role.
- Providing and updating action plans and risk assessments
- Offering young people in supported accommodation encouragement to achieve dreams
- Being part of an on site team supporting young residents with their living needs
- Ensuring young people are supported in developing life skills to be able to move into the community
- Lead and support group activities as part of our learning program, forming a sense of community and engagement.
The Candidate will need:
- A drive to find solutions in supporting young people with a range of backgrounds
- An understanding of young people’s needs and interests, allowing appropriate actions plans to be made
- A passion for providing immediate care and support for young people with safeguarding and emotional and mental health issues
- Having a resilient and flexible nature when dealing with others
- Being able to work under pressure while producing support plans and meeting deadlines
- Happy to work alone or in a team environment.
- A positive, creative approach, with a can-do attitude whilst maintaining professional boundaries
- To hold a valid driving licence
SUMMARY:
This role is being offered on a full time, Temporary basis Working hours to 37 a week, Mon to Fri with one weekend in four. Shift work mix of 8 till 4, 10 till 6, 12 till 8pm An enhanced DBS adult and child needs to be already held
