Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver
Location: Yate (BS37)
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Full‑time position based in Yate. Responsibilities include picking, packing and handling PPE stock according to standard operating procedures, maintaining accurate inventory records, keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised, driving duties, collecting and delivering laundry to brigade stations, responding to urgent call‑outs and performing basic vehicle checks and maintenance. Excellent time‑keeping and a flexible approach to tasks and working hours are required.
Working hours
Monday to Thursday 08:30–17:00, Friday 08:30–16:30.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Manual handling experience
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable with excellent time‑keeping
- Flexible approach to tasks and working hours
Desirable
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift licence (training provided if required)
