As a Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative at our safety fencing depot in Yate, you will combine local driving duties with hands-on yard work. This temporary role involves completing collections and deliveries, loading and unloading materials safely, maintaining the depot, and operating plant machinery with training provided.
- Completing local collections and deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out general yard duties and depot maintenance
- Assisting with stock control and organising materials
- Operating plant and machinery (training provided where required)
- Ensuring the yard is kept safe, clean, and well maintained
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Supporting the wider depot team as needed
About You
- Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Holds a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
- Has an understanding of health and safety procedures
- Yard, warehouse, or logistics experience (desirable)
