Full‑time temp‑to‑perm welding role in Wolverhampton. MIG welding and fabrication of conveyor systems and production machinery for a manufacturing client based in Willenhall.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture, repair and refurbishment of conveyor systems and production machinery.
- Build new conveyors and repair existing equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Set out materials and fabricate components to specification.
- Cut, shape, assemble and weld steel components.
- Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high quality and health & safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience with industrial MIG welding equipment.
- Familiarity with cutting and profiling machinery (CNC plasma/laser cutters, horizontal bandsaws, hydraulic ironworkers, press brakes, plate rollers).
- Basic TIG welding knowledge (advantageous but not essential).
- Proficiency with drill presses, milling machines, angle grinders, belt sanders, measuring equipment and general fabrication tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and set out fabrication work independently.
- Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
