Full‑time temp‑to‑perm welding role in Wolverhampton. MIG welding and fabrication of conveyor systems and production machinery for a manufacturing client based in Willenhall.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, repair and refurbishment of conveyor systems and production machinery.
  • Build new conveyors and repair existing equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Set out materials and fabricate components to specification.
  • Cut, shape, assemble and weld steel components.
  • Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain high quality and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
  • Experience with industrial MIG welding equipment.
  • Familiarity with cutting and profiling machinery (CNC plasma/laser cutters, horizontal bandsaws, hydraulic ironworkers, press brakes, plate rollers).
  • Basic TIG welding knowledge (advantageous but not essential).
  • Proficiency with drill presses, milling machines, angle grinders, belt sanders, measuring equipment and general fabrication tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and set out fabrication work independently.
  • Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Temp‑to‑perm opportunity through Pertemps Wolverhampton with long‑term career prospects.

Company van access when required.
