Senior MEP CAD / Revit Technician – Winchester
A permanent, full‑time vacancy exists for a Senior MEP CAD / Revit Technician based in Winchester.
This role sits within the building services division of a multidisciplinary consultancy, where you will produce detailed drawings and models for a varied project portfolio spanning defence, education, healthcare, and residential sectors.
Competitive salary of £40,000 to £55,000 per annum.

Role Overview
As a Senior CAD / Revit Technician, you will support the delivery of high‑quality building services designs by producing accurate 2D drawings and coordinated 3D Revit MEP models across a variety of new build and refurbishment projects.
You will work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects and other design disciplines to ensure projects are fully coordinated, technically accurate and delivered to programme.
Responsibilities
- Produce and develop 2D Auto CAD drawings and 3D Revit MEP models.
- Prepare general arrangement drawings, sections, details and schedules.
- Work collaboratively with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers throughout the design process.
- Coordinate MEP services with architects, structural engineers and external consultants.
- Ensure drawings and models are accurate, coordinated and comply with project standards.
- Carry out self‑checking and assist with reviewing technical drawings where required.
- Follow company QA procedures and document management processes.
- Deliver work to agreed project programmes and deadlines.
- Support the development of junior technicians and apprentices where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of BIM processes and team workflows.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CAD Technician or Revit Technician within Building Services or MEP Engineering.
- Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit MEP.
- Experience working on UK building services projects.
- Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services coordination.
- Experience producing coordinated MEP drawings and BIM models.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and coordinated design processes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
