The Role
As a Van Delivery Driver in Willenhall, you will deliver fresh cooking oil to catering and restaurant clients and collect used oil for return to the Microsite. You will represent the company professionally, build strong customer relationships during each stop, and operate from modern facilities with new equipment supporting an environmentally conscious business.
Pay: £14.00 per hour. Shift: 10am-7pm Monday to Friday. Weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pre‑trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Drive safely and efficiently in line with UK road laws and company procedures.
- Load and unload fresh and used cooking oil (heavy lifting involved).
- Deliver to catering and restaurant customers and collect used oil.
- Take payments where required and maintain accurate cash/pre‑paid card records.
- Complete documentation including Waste Transfer Notes.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries and issues.
- Report missed or failed deliveries to the Microsite Manager.
- Build strong customer relationships and support sales activity where required.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (clean – no more than 6 points).
- Minimum 6 months UK van driving experience.
- Own vehicle to commute to site.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to handle physical work and heavy lifting.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work varying hours if required.
- Sales or B2B experience desirable but not essential.
