Pertemps Liverpool is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join a busy city-centre site in Liverpool, paying £15 per hour on a full-time, temporary basis.
Working Monday to Friday, 09:30–18:00, the contract starts ASAP and runs until 4th September.
You will handle routine upkeep, including replacing light fittings, changing taps, and completing minor plumbing tasks.
Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe is essential, alongside assisting with manual handling, such as moving furniture and materials.
This role suits a practical, reliable individual with sound building skills.
Prior experience in general maintenance is expected, and you must work confidently alongside the onsite technician.

Our client is seeking a temporary Maintenance Operative to support day‑to‑day upkeep across a busy Liverpool City Centre site.
This role is ideal for someone with strong practical ability, a reliable work ethic, and confidence completing general building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance - Carry out routine upkeep and basic repair work across the building.
- Basic repairs - Replace light fittings, change taps, and complete minor plumbing tasks.
- Site cleanliness -Ensure all work areas remain clean, tidy, and safe.
- Manual handling - Assist with moving furniture and materials, including chairs, mattresses, and sofas, working alongside the onsite MT.
- Issue reporting - Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly to the relevant team members.
- Health & safety compliance - Follow all site procedures and safety guidelines.
- Compliance checks - Support with fire door inspections, emergency lighting (EML) testing, and other routine compliance tasks where experience allows.
- Team support - Assist the wider team with general site duties as required.
Requirements
- Maintenance experience - Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role is desirable.
- Practical skills -Strong hands‑on ability with good attention to detail.
