Role overview:
As a Test and Development Support Technician at Pitstone you will be providing support, installation and maintenance to our Engineering Test Rigs. These systems are used to test and validate our Electrical Motors and Electrical Generators used across a range of applications in the Aerospace industry. You will support the Engineers in this department to set up tests, new equipment and help to make parts and equipment to keep them running for different customer requirements.
Requirements:
Engineering qualifications like Wiring Regs, Mechanical apprenticeships, NVQs, or Electrical or Electronics Qualifications or other relevant to the role - Essential
Ability to use or learn Machining centres, such as CNC and xgikmsk Manual; Mills, Lathes, Grinders etc - Essential
Safe working and good attitude to HSE requirements - Essential
Experience with plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics - Desirable
Experience with test equipment like Gauges, Meters, and Tools - Desirable
