As a Postal Delivery Driver in Washington, you’ll join the Pertemps team supporting Royal Mail, handling letters and parcels across the local area. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Load & Go: Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle.
- On the Move: Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
- Tech‑Savvy Delivery: Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
- Hands‑On Work: Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A full UK manual driving licence (maximum of 6 points; clean preferred).
- Comfortable working outdoors through rain, shine, or snow.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Previous Driving/ Delivering experience would great (but isn’t essential!)
