The Counterbalance FLT Driver and Storesperson/Warehouse role in Washington involves supporting logistics and warehouse operations for a 3‑month contract. Paying £13.45 per hour, this full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
The successful applicant will safely operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks, receive and unload deliveries, manage stock accurately to meet internal customer needs. A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence and warehouse experience are essential. Duties also include maintaining inventory records and ensuring efficient workflow within the stores.
Key Duties- Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
- Receive, unload, check and store supplier deliveries
- Accurately record stock movements using the Inventory Management System
- Issue stock items to internal customers and resolve any stock queries
- Complete cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
- Generate replenishment orders between sites
- Load and unload materials for site transfers
- Provide cover for satellite stores when required
- Participate in the standby rota where necessary
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck qualification
- Previous experience within a logistics or warehouse environment
- Experience using Inventory Management Systems
- Full valid driving licence
