Pertemps Warrington is recruiting an HGV Technician for a permanent, full-time role in Warrington, with a salary of £20.00 to £23.00 per hour depending on experience.

Duties of an HGV Technician
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards.
- Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, and other general maintenance.
- Accurately complete job cards and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Requirements of an HGV Technician
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of DVSA standards and compliance requirements.
- NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds would be desirable.
- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
- Hours of work
- Week 1 - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00
- Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:00 & Friday 14:00 - 20:00
- Alternative Saturdays 06:00 - 12:00 (paid at time and a half)
