Teach South is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join primary and nursery settings in Brighton.
This full‑time role offers a weekly salary between £460 and £500.
You will support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, assisting with play‑based learning activities and working one‑to‑one or in small groups to aid development.
The position involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, including autism, speech and language needs, and developmental delays.
Personal care duties are also required.
The ideal candidate will be caring and attentive, with a genuine interest in early childhood education.
This contract provides a chance to contribute to a nurturing school environment.
The Role
- Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Assisting with engaging play‑based learning activities.
- Working one‑to‑one and in small groups to support children's development.
- Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, speech and language needs, and developmental delays where required.
- Providing personal care, including toileting and changing, while maintaining the child's dignity and promoting independence.
- Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
- A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
- Confidence supporting children with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
- Willingness to provide personal care where required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.
