Overview

Teach South is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join primary schools in Brighton and Peacehaven.

This role starts in September and involves supporting Reception children on a 1:1 basis as they transition from nursery.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours, with a weekly salary between £427 and £450.

Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic and focused on early childhood development.

It is a contract role ideal for those passionate about fostering positive early learning experiences in a school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Help young learners settle into school, build confidence, and develop social and emotional skills.
  • Support children on a 1:1 basis during the transition to Reception.

  • Experience working with children, ideally within an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting.
