Position Overview

A Temporary Internal Recruiter is required for an 11-week assignment in London, paying £18.00 to £19.00 per hour plus holiday pay. This hybrid role (three days in the office, two remote) sits within a leading FMCG firm in Wimbledon. You will manage end-to-end hiring for multiple regions and head office, sourcing candidates via job boards, databases, and outreach. Telephone interviews form a core duty. This position suits a recruiter comfortable with high-volume workflows. Prior experience in agency or internal recruitment is necessary. You will deliver a steady pipeline of qualified applicants across varied positions. The contract begins immediately, offering a consistent weekly workload for the temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing candidates across various channels: job boards, CV databases, and proactive outreach.
• Screening applications to identify top talent for multiple regions and head office roles.
• Conducting telephone interviews to assess candidate suitability.
• Coordinating interviews with hiring managers and managing candidate schedules.
• Managing assessment days, handling logistics and communication.
• Providing general recruitment admin support to ensure the process runs smoothly.
• Ensuring a high-quality candidate experience from start to finish.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous recruitment experience in-house or agency, particularly in high-volume recruitment and fast-paced environments.
• Experience supporting regional teams as well as head office recruitment.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple roles and regions simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and hiring managers.
• Comfortable working in a structured, delivery-focused team.
