Reporting to the Tamworth site, this full-time Press Machine Operator role with Pertemps North Midlands offers a permanent contract after a temporary period. Working day shifts, you will operate heavy duty presses up to 300 tonnes and perform basic routine maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and carrying out basic routine maintenance on a range of heavy duty presses (up to 300ton)
  • Being mindful of light guard and upholding high standards of health & safety in all that you do
  • Quality assuring your own work and updating SAP system
  • Packaging and palletising products end of line
  • Seeking technical support for any significant machinery issues

It is essential that all applicants can demonstrate some prior experience as machine or line operator.

Hours of work: 0700-1600 Monday to Thursday / 0700-1200 Fridays

Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour + Overtime + Reviews to support people on training pathway to become full setters
