Approximately half the time involves desk based tasks, such as processing work orders and managing material requirements; the remainder supports technicians by picking components, preparing orders and verifying correct allocation for engineering assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing and administering work orders and material requirements.
- Picking components and parts for engineering assemblies in line with production schedules.
- Cross checking picked items against engineering paperwork, work orders and bills of materials to ensure complete accuracy.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to identify the correct components.
- Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Liaising with customers and clients over the phone, providing updates and responding to enquiries in a professional manner.
- Working closely with the workshop team to support production deadlines.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate, organised and up to date.
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required.
