6 Month Contract Outside IR35 London
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience as an HV Wireman/Fitter working on 11kV-400kV substation projects
- Experience with panel wiring, relay and protection panels, control panels and HV electrical equipment
- Strong background in cable installation, glanding, termination and earthing within HV substations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience carrying out HV busbar installation and electrical fitting activities
- Knowledge of substation installation standards, safe systems of work and quality requirements
- Ability to work effectively as part of installation and commissioning teams on live HV infrastructure projects
Desirable:
- Experience working on National Grid, UKPN or SSE projects
- Experience on BESS or renewable energy projects
- ECS Gold Card and 18th Edition qualification
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Experience supporting testing and commissioning activities within substations
