As a Class 2 Driver based in Swindon, you will deliver palletised freight to commercial clients across local and regional routes.
This temporary role, paying up to £14.64 per hour, offers Monday‑to‑Friday day shifts.
Daily responsibilities include completing between eight and fifteen drops using a tail lift and pallet truck, performing routine vehicle inspections, and providing professional service at each delivery point.
Reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers with a valid licence and a proactive approach to safe, efficient working will find this position suitable.
Immediate starts are available for those ready to join a consistent weekday schedule.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver palletised goods to businesses across the local and regional area.
- Complete between 8–15 drops per day (depending on route).
- Load and unload using a tail lift and pallet truck where required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
What we're looking for
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport regulations.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred, although newly qualified drivers may be considered.
