A Tree Surgeon is required for a permanent, full-time position with a well-established family landscape firm based in Sutterton, Lincolnshire. The role involves working a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically between 7:30 and 16:00, with travel across Lincolnshire and surrounding counties. The Company has been trading for the past 25 years specializing in grounds and sports field maintenance. They cover all of Lincolnshire and surrounding counties and pride themselves on being able to provide commercial grounds maintenance works to the highest of standards.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Carrying out general arboricultural duties for a number of clients; including but not limited to:
- Mixed Tree Works
- Hedge Cutting
- Site Clearance
- Stump Grinding
There will also be occasions where you will be expected to work away. You will be paid accordingly for any additional works done outside your regular working hours.
Candidate requirements:
- Ability to manage own work without close supervision in all weathers and at all hours
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience within the arboriculture industry
- City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting (CS30)
- City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Felling Small Trees up to 380mm (CS31)
- City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Climbing Trees and Aerial Rescue (CS38)
- Aged over 21 (for insurance purposes)
- Full clean manual driving licence
- Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check
- All PPE will be provided
- Training and qualifications will be provided to keep staff trained and competent.
Desirable:
- City & Guilds Level 3 certificate of competence in Aerial Tree Rigging (CS41)
