Position: Marine Designer x 2
Duration: 6 months
Start: ASAP
Rate: £52p/hr. Outside IR35.
Hybrid working: 3 office - 2 remotely.
As a Senior Designer, you will support the Marine Team, liaise with other disciplines, and work with clients and vendors. You will coordinate and work with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Marine and Structural Designer with a formal qualification or on job training
- Minimum experience of 10 years
- Proficient in the use of Aveva Marine and able to provide advice/guidance to junior designers
- Ability to manage a team of designers working remotely
- Creation of project specific job notes, guides and training material to support consistent deliverables
- Organizing schedules and resources within the team to achieve required deliverables to project deadlines
- Breaking project tasks down to drawing level and estimating resources required to complete milestones
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in identifying priorities and be agile in addressing emerging urgent issues as they arise
- Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to work in an office-based role
