Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Employment: Full‑time, temporary, seasonal (academic year) starting September2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Support the lead teacher in delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assist pupils in Year4 with lessons, activities and assessment tasks.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide one‑to‑one or small group support as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupils’ progress and attendance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience working with Year4 pupils is desirable.
  • Two recent satisfactory references covering the last two years.
  • Strong commitment to pupil progress and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
