A temporary Van Driver position is available in Stoke-on-Trent, paying up to £13.18 per hour. This assignment runs for one week only, with shifts from 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday.
You will operate a 3.5-tonne vehicle, delivering paint and decorating supplies to trade customers along a pre-planned multi-drop route.
The shift times are 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday with an immediate start available. The location is Victoria Road, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 2HX.
Assist with warehouse duties when not occupied with driving duties.
Requirements
- Must be over 21 years old
- Full UK Driving licence with no more than nine points
- At least two years of driving experience
- Appropriate PPE – safety boots and a high-visibility jacket
- Flexible to support with additional duties e.g., carry out general warehouse/store duties during periods when not occupied in driving duties
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Multi-drop experience is desirable as there could be anything between 5 and 50 drops a day (depending on demand and the areas)
- Good customer service skills (engaging directly with customers)
