This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Broad Oak, Portsmouth. The Senior Commercial Officer will support the Senior Commercial Manager as a member of the vibrant and highly capable Commercial team within our Simulation and Training business sector, managing and delivering a portfolio of contracts and bids to a range of domestic customers in a dynamic commercial environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a commercial function.
- In-depth professional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques and practices with an understanding of how Commercial roles fit into an organisation as a whole.
- 3 years plus commercial experience, ideally in both UK and export defence environments.
- Broad professional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques and practices and application and understanding of the Commercial role in organisations.
- Good understanding of contract terms, contractual and legal frameworks with the ability to identify key contractual risks.
