We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics and distribution company for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy warehouse team with full VNA Crane training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating warehouse material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently, following all company procedures. Including Forklift and VNA Crane.
- Safely unload inbound deliveries and move stock to designated storage and holding areas.
- Ensure that inbound and outbound shipments are correct and not damaged or broken, reporting any quality issues to shift supervisor.
- Pick, prepare and loading customers’ orders, ensuring that all products are correct and the right quantities are dispatched.
- Carry out order picking efficiently to meet customer service and productivity targets.
- Move stock from storage and holding areas onto vehicles.
- Use RF scanning equipment for picking, receiving and loading activities.
- Assist with stock takes and physical inventory counts.
- Complete daily equipment checks and inspections in line with company procedures.
- Report any equipment faults or performance issues promptly to shift supervisors.
