About the Role

Pertemps Liverpool is recruiting a Picking & Packing Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in Skelmersdale (WN8). This full-time, temporary role offers a salary of £13 per hour, rising to £19.50 per hour for overtime after 37.5 hours. Working Monday to Friday, you will choose between an early shift (06:00-14:00) or a late shift (14:00-22:00), with flexibility required. Your primary duties involve accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch to maintain efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Order picking – selecting items accurately according to pick lists
  • Packing goods – preparing products securely for shipment
  • Stock organisation – sorting, arranging and replenishing inventory
  • Labelling & scanning – using simple systems to record stock movement
  • Re‑packing tasks – correcting packaging issues when required
  • General warehouse duties – supporting loading, unloading and housekeeping

  • Location: Skelmersdale (WN8)
  • Hours: Monday‑Friday, 06:00-14:00 OR 14:00-22:00, flexibility required
  • Pay: £13 per hour, OT at £19.50 per hour after 37.5 hours
