The Warehouse Operative / Packing Operative position in Sheffield (Chapeltown, S35) involves inspecting incoming goods, rebuilding pallets, and preparing orders for dispatch. Working Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, you will also load vehicles, coordinate courier collections, and operate pallet trucks. Maintaining precise inventory records and supporting daily housekeeping are essential duties. Prior warehouse or industrial experience is required, with a Counterbalance FLT licence preferred. This temporary contract lasts two to six weeks, paying up to £13.45 per hour, plus £20.17 overtime. You will handle third-party logistics and ensure accurate stock control, contributing to smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming goods and supplies for damage or discrepancies
- Break down and rebuild pallets as required
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Load and prepare vehicles for next-day deliveries
- Coordinate collections with third-party couriers
- Operate MHE equipment including pallet trucks
- Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory records
- Support general day-to-day warehouse operations and housekeeping duties
