Senior Transport Planner β London
Full-time role based in the City of London with a salary of Β£45,000 β Β£60,000 plus benefits and bonus.
Overview
Manage residential, mixed-use, commercial and educational development projects across London and the South East. Lead transport assessments, travel planning, junction modelling and support strategic development schemes while liaising with national housebuilders and public sector bodies.
Responsibilities
- Preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Producing Travel Plans and supporting planning applications
- Undertaking site appraisals and development feasibility studies
- Managing project programmes, budgets and deliverables
- Client liaison and stakeholder engagement
- Reviewing and interpreting transport data
- Coordinating junior team members and supporting their development
- Working alongside developers, architects and planning consultants on major development projects
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline
- Previous consultancy experience within transport planning
- Strong understanding of development planning and the planning process
- Experience producing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Experience using TRICS and other industry-standard software
- Ability to manage projects and communicate directly with clients
- Desirable: LinSig, ARCADY and PICADY experience
- TPP qualified or working towards TPP
- Experience mentoring junior planners
- Background in a development planning consultancy
