Join a world-renowned aerospace organisation as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer NC Programmer in Samlesbury full time onsite. Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer NC Programmer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Samlesbury on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.
The rate per hour: £33.24 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella.
The role:
- Working to relevant project and business standards, carrying out modifications & improvements to Hard & Soft metal NC programs to required quality and timeframe.
- Create new NC programs for Hard & Soft metal components to required quality and timeframe.
- Providing Build Line Support and rectification for tape prove activities for any new or modified programs delivered.
- Integrating and collaborating across multiple manufacturing teams to ensure aligned processes, consistent standards, and seamless delivery of programming support.
Manufacturing Engineering - NC Programming.
The Role Holder:
- Experience in machining principles and using current CAD/CAM systems.
- Have a good understanding of design for manufacture (DFM), dimensional management (GD&T) and process planning.
- Have a good understanding of basic design principles.
- Have recent experience of CATIA v4/5 for NC programming.
- CATIA v4/5 modelling experience.
- Generation of Condition of Supply (COS) data experience.
