The Senior Chef Manager at Berkeley Scott in Hersham will lead the daily catering service at a large secondary school, overseeing food preparation and service. This permanent, term-time role operates Monday to Friday, with a salary of £38,000 per annum for 39 weeks plus an additional three weeks.

The position requires a hands-on leader who manages kitchen staff, maintains food safety standards, and ensures nutritious, high-quality meals are consistently produced. Candidates should possess proven experience in education catering and strong team management skills. This role offers a stable working pattern and responsibility for delivering an efficient, well-run operation.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day catering service, delivering high-quality, nutritious food in a high-volume school environment. The role is operational and hands-on, with responsibility for team leadership, menu delivery, compliance, stock control, and financial performance. You will work closely with school stakeholders to maintain excellent service standards and promote a positive food culture across the site.
