Responsibilities
- Support students with Autism and Moderate Learning Needs.
- Oversee EHCPs, annual reviews and SEND documentation.
- Work closely with teachers to develop high‑quality, differentiated teaching strategies.
- Monitor student progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
- Provide training, guidance and best practice support to staff in SEND.
- Liaise with parents, carers and external professionals.
- Contribute to whole‑school improvement and inclusive practice.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status and the appropriate SENCO qualification.
- Previous experience working within a SEND or specialist setting.
- Strong understanding of Autism and Moderate Learning Needs.
- Experience supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive, compassionate and collaborative approach.
