The predicted salary is between 14 - 14 £ per hour.

Based in Inverness, this temporary position processes personnel security background checks for employees and contractors within the organisation. The role is authorised by Manpower UK and is offered at up to £14.00 per hour for 37.5 hours each week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.

Salary, Location and Hours

  • Salary: £14 per hour (Living Wage Employer)
  • Location: Inverness Retail Park
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am – 6pm

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security vetting and clearance processes for employees and contractors
  • Manage ongoing security clearance reviews for existing employees and contractors
  • Analyse security clearance investigation reports and make recommendations to management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date security clearance records and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and government agencies to ensure compliance with security clearance policies and procedures
  • Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to security vetting and clearance processes

Qualifications and Experience

  • Required: UK Government National Security Vetting at SC level
  • Desirable: Police vetting at a minimum of NPPV2/CTC
  • Experience in conducting detailed administrative processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer-focused service to relevant stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
