The Role As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the warehouse, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and customer service targets are consistently achieved. You will lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives whilst maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day warehouse operation across inbound, outbound, and inventory functions.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets.
  • Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
  • Monitor productivity and performance KPIs throughout the shift.
  • Conduct team briefings and communicate operational priorities.
  • Support workforce planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with Health andamp; Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Identify training requirements and support employee development.
  • Manage absence, performance, and conduct issues in line with company policies.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Managers and other departments to deliver operational objectives.
  • Ensure warehouse housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Operative role.
  • Experience within a fast-paced logistics, distribution, or warehousing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including goods-in, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good understanding of Health andamp; Safety requirements within a warehouse environment.

Desirable

  • FLT licence or experience managing FLT operations.
  • Experience within a 3PL or multi-client warehouse operation.
  • Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and performance reporting.
  • IOSH qualification or Health andamp; Safety training.
  • Continuous Improvement or Lean experience.
