Overview
This permanent Project Manager position based in Tunbridge Wells offers a salary between £37,000 and £60,000 per annum. The role suits candidates with one to five years of postgraduate experience in construction project management. Working pattern is full-time within their Kent office. This is a direct hire role through T.E.D. (Recruitment) Ltd.
Responsibilities
- Oversee varied projects, including high-end residential, commercial, light industrial, sports, leisure, refurbishment or new-build schemes.
- Coordinate project delivery from inception to completion.
- Prepare Gantt charts and project execution plans.
- Conduct site inspections and attend site meetings, including minuting meetings.
- Administer construction contracts (e.g., JCT and others).
Candidate / Qualifications
- Construction-related Degree in Construction Project Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Minimum of one year to five years postgraduate experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Experience working for a firm of construction consultants; RICS Chartered or working towards chartered status.
- Excellent written and spoken English; confident in dealing with people at all levels.
- Highly articulate and confident with strong communication and organisational abilities.
Benefits and Details
Salary negotiable by experience, in the region of £37,000 to £60,000, plus pension and other benefits. APC support will be provided to become chartered. The employer offers slightly longer hours during the week with Friday afternoon off.
